WOW!!! Every now and then you wish you could give 6 or 7 stars...Lost Texan BBQ is one of those places. I am not in truth a huge fan of BBQ places...but...this is not a gimmick joint...the food is fantastic and the owner is such a true southern gentleman! Thanks for a great lunch...can't wait to come back.
Have to say I was super excited after eating their brisket. I grew up in Texas, and I have struggled to find any decent BBQ since I moved to Utah. Their spicy BBQ sauce is awesome, and actually spicy! Not for a sissy. You can tell that their sides are homemade. Tasted like I was at one of the family BBQs, and the staff is absolutely amazing!
Good BBQ. They are a bit pricey, but good bbq always is. They have Ale8 in bottles, which is normally only available in Kentucky. I have a few favorite places up and down the Wasatch front and this is the go to place for the Ogden area.
Staff was friendly, helpful and attractive. Oh and the food was really good too. No but seriously come eat here. Its AWESOME!!
I got brisket, pulled pork, and spicy sausage. It was all awesome. The spicy sauces are hot, but not punishing. I also had the mac and cheese, as well as the macaroni salad, and they were both very good. I may even take the kids next time! :)
